About Education Station

Our founder, Donna McGuire, used her extensive experience in a variety of early childhood roles to establish an in-home program that reflected quality early childhood education. From there the program evolved to be center based while maintaining the core values of the family style concept. Our team of coaches continue to work in classrooms on a daily basis. Our connections to the day in and day out needs of educators of young children give us the foundation to provide conversations from the classroom for the classroom.

Our coaches bring a variety of experience, knowledge, and passion for early childhood education. Together we have over 150 years of experience in the field. This experience spans many sectors including public school, childcare classrooms infants through school-age, and in-home childcare. We are also active in our community sectors locally, regionally and nationally surrounding education, teacher training, and consulting. Our formal educational backgrounds include Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Business.

Each one of us brings our own unique strengths and talents to the team, giving us the opportunity to focus on what we each do best and share that with others.

Education Station offers a variety of learning opportunities for anyone working in early childhood education or caring for young children in other capacities. Learning is available live online, on demand, and in person.

Teacher Conversations

A variety of professional development opportunities for teachers working with young children in their communities. We offer state mandated training in addition to curriculum driven and best practice concepts. Our research driven training is hands-on, engaging, relevant, and based on producing conversations between learners so each person can walk away with new knowledge, ideas and support.

Administration Conversations

Administrators in early childhood programs have a unique set of training needs. As directors ourselves (presently or otherwise) we have knowledge and experience to share. We offer formal training opportunities as well as an ongoing support platform, The Daily Director.

Community Conversations

Adults in the home are the child’s first teacher. Education Station offers support for families on a variety of topics to help you feel confident in this role. These sessions are set up as learning opportunities that provoke relevant conversations and support.
